The Way of the Healer: Caregivers Retreat
June 6, 7, & 8
St. Joseph Capitola Catholic Community
435 Monterey Avenue Capitola
Open To All Caregivers
This retreat will be a special time for caregivers to focus on
compassionate care for “self”- a respite from caring for others
Thought from the book, A Hidden Wholeness by Parker Palmer:
“When we are rooted in true self, we can act in ways that are life-giving for us and all whose lives we touch. Whatever we do to care for true self is, in the long run, a gift to the world.”
And, when we also experience how much God loves us as caregivers we can be at peace.
